socialio is a content-creation tool for solo creators and small teams. It turns your source material (transcripts, notes, RSS articles) into social-media posts and helps you publish and schedule them to the channels you connect (Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, Threads). This policy explains what data we process and how.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your email address and authentication data (password hash or Google sign-in identifier).
• Content you create: transcripts/notes you paste or import, generated posts, rubrics, strategy, schedule, and media (photos) you upload.
• Connected-channel credentials: access tokens for the platforms you choose to connect (Telegram bot token, Meta/Facebook & Instagram tokens, Threads token, Google) - stored server-side and used only to act on your behalf.
• Google account data (only if you connect Google Drive): see Section 3.

2. How we use information

To provide the service: generate and format posts, store your library, publish/schedule to the channels you connect, and support/secure the product. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Google user data (Drive)

If you connect Google Drive, socialio requests the drive.readonly scope and uses it solely to let you browse folders you choose and import images from them into your socialio media library, so you can attach those images to your posts.

• We access only the folders you specify; we read image files and basic file metadata (id, name, type) to import and de-duplicate them.
• We do not access, read, or store other files in your Drive.
• Imported images are stored in your socialio workspace; we keep the Google file ID to avoid importing duplicates.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell or transfer it, except as needed to operate the service at your direction.
• No humans read your Google data except where you explicitly request support, where required for security, or to comply with law.

4. Storage, security & retention

Data is stored on our private server (PostgreSQL + file storage). Tokens are kept server-side and are never exposed to other users. We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete content (sources, media, posts) at any time, and disconnect any channel - which removes its stored token.

5. Deleting your data

Disconnect Google Drive in Settings to revoke our access and delete the stored Google tokens; you can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete your account and all associated data, contact o.stepeniev@swipescape.eu.

6. Sharing

We share content only with the third-party platforms you explicitly publish to (e.g., Telegram, Meta, Threads), and with infrastructure/AI providers strictly to deliver the service. We do not share Google user data with third parties for their own purposes.
